I can’t see, I can’t feel. I don’t know which way is down, which way is up. I’m disoriented, numb all over, and most of all, I’m cold. It was so fast, just a sudden, violent push in the back. The force pushing me to the soft ground as a sea of white covered me. My heart was pounding, I was panicking, trying to move my limbs to no avail. I was breathing in snow, making me even colder. I moved my head to create a pocket of air. All I could do was wait.
